He also encouraged more sensitivity from teachers in German schools.“Some teachers, in particular from the eastern districts of Berlin, must for example acquire more intercultural competence to better respond to migrant students,” he told the paper.
Spørsmål som melder seg er: hva med hinduenes høytider, buddhistenes, sikhenes, zoroasternes, osv? Har noen noensinne sett liknende krav fra ledere innen disse religiøse gruppene? Men det er sikkert mange elever som ville jublet over et slikt tilbud – det kan jo knapt bli mange skoledager igjen…
